Long time no update.. sorry bout that, we got lazy. For all those that haven't heard yet we're having another evennt on June 30^th for 150g-12lb robots. It'll be a nice small event but should be lots of fun. Hopefully this time we wont have a hurricane pass through. We're working on one new 12lb robot and trying to get our other stuff fixed up/built for the event. If you'd like to register sign up on the buildersdb. Hope to see you there.

Happy Holidays from Team Slackers United! We are busy working on our bots for Motorama. The three antweights that we are bringing (Simon's "Always v2", Vadim's "Super Sonic", and Ray's "Sweet Revenge") are coming along slowly but surely. Sean will be driving a beetleweight named Neo for a friend of ours. Lastly, We are thinking about building a 12 pound robot since we have all the materials/resources to do so, it's just a question of whether or not Team Slackers is too lazy (ha ha). Cya in 2007!

We've finally started thinking about Motorama! We are exploring possible sponsors to help us with milling, as school access to the mill is pretty much impossible. We've recently gotten access to several waterjets as well. Lastly, we are sad to report that Tianyang Sun was accepted to Columbia University.

Alright so here's the first serious update for a while. We've been keeping busy with House of Slackers. Anyway, so we're going to pick up the arena this Tuesday, so we should be all set up at least a week ahead of time.

Well Benson has sent some videos to us for hosting. In other news the Slackers event is postponed until Sept. 2^nd You can all thank George for deciding to leave for camp (Yea we don't get why he left for 8^th grade camp either) and forget about an event in his backyard. We're still looking for more robots so Register! Happy first birthday to teamslackersunited and teamslackers. Congratulations also on making 10,000 hits exactly from the day it was opened.

Robots for robolympics are all done and I'm all packed up. I even had some time to make Simon's beater spin freely on his shaft.

RoboGames time. Check out how organized I am. My requirement for the robots to earn their box is that they must spin. So watch Das Horizontal Boot and Chipmunk spin.

We're back from Motorama with no wins in first through third :(. Expect videos up some time this week and possibly a few pictures. In other news we have taken a new teammate onto Team Slackers. Sean Lyttle (builder of Pan Galagtic Gargle Blaster) is now part of the team.

We just got back from HON 2005. Always got first in the Antweights. Sweet Revenge got second in the Antweights. Titanium Squirrel got ripped apart in the beetles. Videos will be up soon. We also put up a CAD Page here with all of our models on it

Hovercraft build report updated

We have a new project that we hope to complete within a week: a hovercraft. This serves two purposes at the same time; one is to give us a project for the summer, and the other is to put our build report pages to good use. The build report page and the cool stuff page have been updated with our new project. The robots page has been updated to show the status of the bots.

The robots page is almost complete, the cool stuff section is completed, and the House of Gilleski pictures are up. We hope to soon have BBIQ2005 pictures up, and we will update the team info page shortly. Build reports are expected to begin appearing for certain robots (specifically Always V2, Question Mark, Sweet Revenge, and possibly Tax Season). Additionally, George's mill is almost working. Lastly, we plan to build a brand new 15 pound robot soon (details to be posted soon). Expect the site to be complete, our robots to be upgraded, and new robots to be created, within a few weeks.

We are Slackers United and have just launched a completely new website. This new team is a combination of four seperate teams which have now dissasembled and reassembled into one large team with much more robots and many more acheivements. We will have many new projects and more robots in the making. The website is still under construction.
